Communication Coaching

Whether your communication is writing or some other creative form, you want help with it as part of your life process.

· Overcome any block you are experiencing in communicating

· Understand the role of communication in your life

· Identify what you want to achieve in a particular project

· Identify your audience

· Develop a strategy for completing your project

Hourly rates will be negotiated in an initial interview. There will be no charge for the interview if you choose not to go forward.

Editing

You want editing help with what you have written or want to write. Usual turnaround is 5 – 7 business days. Rush jobs are subject to a 20% surcharge.

Express Proofreading

You have completed your writing and need only a quick check for minor errors.

· $2.00/page for a corrected digital copy

· $2.25/page when marking up a hard copy

Basic Proofreading

You want proofing for spelling mistakes, typos, punctuation, capitalization errors, and awkward grammar.

· $2.50/page for a corrected digital copy

· $3.00/page when marking up hard copy

Extended Proofreading / Line-by-Line Copyediting

Beside basic proofreading, you want proofing for clarity, sense, word choice, redundancies, and inconsistencies in narrative voice.

· $3.50/page for a corrected digital copy

· $4.00/page when marking up hard copy

Deep Editing / Rewriting

You want some rewriting and restructuring. We will highlight our suggested revisions. If we are not sure of your intent, we will insert a bracketed comment or question for you.

· $10.00/page for a corrected digital copy

· $12.00/page when marking up hard copy

Significant Rewriting / Ghost writing

You want significant rewriting and restructuring.

· An hourly negotiated coaching fee for a file copy

· A 10% surcharge when marking up hard copy
